Connie Jackson Kenney was born in Savannah, Georgia, in the mid 20th century and now calls Henderson, North Carolina, home. She began sewing as a teenager and found a love for quilting 18 years ago. The quilt that inspired her was a crazy quilt made by her husband’s grandmother. Her first quilt was of course a crazy quilt. Connie loves making art quilts because of their creativity, flexibility and freedom. A retired Nutritionist, she has been a member of Heritage Quilters since 2002.
