Quilting is something that my daughter and I can do together.
I’ve always been interested in quilting. I remember coming to the south from New York and seeing my grandmother quilt. As children we came every summer, and I always remember the quilts. It’s that feeling you get from being on the bed with a quilt. It’s different from any other cover, you feel secure. I’m hoping that my daughter will gain quilting skills, learn about materials and cloth, how to put pieces of fabric together, and see an end product.
